My Review:
So back in May, I had the honor of reading and participating in Samantha Fontien's debut release and blog tour for book 1 in her 'Butterflies' series. If you would like to see my review for book one please click here. Thank you. I was looking forward to the release of this book. My expectations for this book were high for Samantha Fontien, as are for any book that is part of a cliffhanger series. To me, books are like movies in this aspect. When you are left hanging at the end the second one (or however many there are) need to make up for having to wait to get answers and what not.
I wasn't disappointed. I think this book was a lot better than the first book. You really are able to get a better understanding of the characters and their standings in this book. Each become complete and any holes or questions from the first book are answered in this book.

This book picks up right where book 1 left off. There are no in between moments that were left out. For me this allowed me to get right back into the book. There were many things happening in this book that all led up to the end where not only did Rebecca's story closes, but so does Lucy's. I was in tears on many parts of this book and others I was cheering. You get an idea of who Duncan is the man cloaked in mystery. Friendships are made on a common ground and they last because of a common goal. The friendship that Lucy and Rebecca have is strong and cannot be broken. I feel that way about quite a few of my friends. No matter what they are always there for each other, telling it like it is and helping them with shit hits the fan and begins to fall to pieces around them.
I wouldn't call Rebecca and Lucy caught in a triangle between men, because that is not the case. Lucy was with George. He lied so she broke it off then after some time of mopping she found Chris. And the same for Rebecca (only a little different). Because they were never with both of these guys at the same time there really is no triangle scenario here. Having said that though, I did have my favorites in the first book. Did they change in the second book? Not necessarily. However, I did get a better understanding of the characters and because of this I was able to see why each made the decisions they did.
Mrs. Fontien, you really were able to close up this set perfectly. I was beyond thrilled with the progression and how it ended. Again you had me living in London with these lovely ladies and their men. I of course have never been there, but it was sure nice to get there in a dream hahaha! Your ability to pull me into the story and the characters progression was spot on. I wish you all the best and success in the future. You deserve it. I loved this book! I can't wait to read more from you.
