My Review:

There are many things in life that could happen in a single minute and we can’t stop or prevent them.  There are just things we don’t have control over.  It is a fact of life.  Loved ones will not always be there.  We will not always be around, but that is the reason to make every second count.
As I read this book I was immediately taken to that thought.  It is no secret how HUGE of a fan I am of Beverley Hollowed’s.  I have read all her books and will continue to read them in the future.  This book however is by far my favorite.  It is a tear jerker and heart string puller.
Before I get too far into it, let’s meet the cast shall we?

Emma was caught in a nightmare.  Her whole world was ripped out from under her feet for a second time.  For a second time, she was forced to try and pick up the pieces.

Jonathan loved Emma with everything that he was.  He vowed to make her happy for the rest of his life.  He just didn’t know that his time with Emma would be so short.

Zach loved Emma from the minute he laid eyes on her as she sang in a bar he worked at part-time.  He wanted a life with Emma, there was no one else for him.

This story was an emotional rollercoaster and it was almost impossible for me to put down.  I had to, but I couldn’t quit thinking about it and wanted to know what was going to happen next.  I think I had every emotion from the Anger to Sadness.

I loved Zach right away.  Emma was lost and confused in the beginning, but she found her balance.  The problem was it wasn’t in where she thought she would find it.  I loved the chemistry between Zach and Emma.  Jonathan seemed to be a great guy and devoted to Emma, but he wasn’t in the book long enough to get a good picture of who he was.
My stomach was either dropping, flipping, or in knots.  My heart soared, dropped, and at points even stopped.  My eyes didn’t stay dry.  To have lost what Emma loses in such a short time…Wow!  But then there is Zach and he just makes you scream to save her, to help her…to do something….Ugh!  The whole book was just an intense read!

To Mrs. Beverley Hollowed, the amount of words flying around in my head right now for your book is overwhelming.  I honestly didn’t think you could top Cole, but you did.  Zach was beyond worthy of swooning over.  I loved him from the minute he entered the book.  You are beyond talented.  With every word, my heart raced and my mind drew further and further into the story.  I forgot the world around me and was immersed only in your book.  I am truly honored to have read this book and had the opportunity to be one of the first to review it.  Keep stories coming like this and there will be no stopping you.  Simply amazing!

This book is a definite and must read!
