***Blog Tour Stop for BJ Harvey's Lost for You*** ~PJ~

LOST FOR YOU
BY BJ HARVEY

SYNOPSIS:
What would you do if you were told that everything you had ever believed in and everything you had ever known, was a lie?
Elle’s life is altered forever after an unexpected phone call and an unwelcome visitor. Trying to put her life back together, Brax’s last words continue to echo through her mind. Why she is being followed and why is she suddenly in danger? The fact that Brax knew about it all and still left her alone, breaks her fragile heart all over again.
Brax will never forgive himself for leaving Elle at a time when she needed him the most, even if he believed it was the only way to protect her. As he makes his way back to her life, he is determined to win her back, regain her trust and help rebuild her for the second time. His return proves he is the same man, yet Elle sees in his eyes a haunted look she knows all too well.
When a confession leaves Elle reeling, her entire life unravels around her. She begins to understand that the people she trusts the most have put her in grave danger and the people who have been protecting her actually want to cause her harm.
Elle soon discovers that the old adage is true, you have to become lost before you can be found.

MY REVIEW:

Casting as I see it...

Elise (Elle) Halliwell

Braxton (Brax) James

So as luck would have it, I was able to read these books back to back and boy am I grateful for that.  I am not sure I would have survived the wait for book 2 hahahaha!

This book was even better than the first.  Let's be honest (as an author myself), achieving that is hard work.  However, Mrs. Harvey seems to have pulled that off without even batting an eye.  The intensity in this book is strong.  There were many times when I couldn't stop crying or biting my nails.  I swear I have no fingernails left from chewing them off.

Lost for you was so hard to put down.  I read it in a few hours it was that good.  The things that Elle and Brax made it through in book 1 was enough for a person for a lifetime, but it doesn't stop.  No they keep coming, every bad and messed up scenario there is out there is thrown at them over the course of these 2 books.  However, some how in all the horrible stuff going down there are happy times and laughable times.

I have to say that Braxton is major swoonworthy material.  He is attentive, kind, sweet, lovable and damn sexy! He is a perfect match for Elle.  They complete each other and save each other.  You can feel their emotions as if they are you're own.  I love it when an author can pull that off.  BJ Harvey not only pulled it off, but soared with it.  I think that is what made these books so good.  It was the fact that you weren't just watching them, but feeling with them.  It makes the story more life-like and less like something being told to you.

I love the different points of view as well.  They add so much to the story.  The different POV's help you get a full picture of the story.  I love stories that more real life than a story.  It is the reason I love reading and writing.

If the intensity and suspense don't grab your fancy then maybe the hot and steaminess will.  OH boy!  There isn't much else to say about this book other than...

YOU NEED TO READ THIS BOOK!!!!  You must read Lost in Distraction first though. To read my review for Lost in Distraction click here please.

Author Profile:

Having always loved reading, and having been befriended and inspired by some awesome self published authors and book lovers alike, I decided to start writing my first novel, Lost in Distraction in December 2012. It was a conscious decision that started with a song, then the prologue and then catapulted from there. I love music too, like REALLY love music, if there isn't music playing, something is wrong. Out and Proud Vampire Diaries fan as well.

I'm also a wife, mother, full-time university student and I do contract work for myself from home.
