*****Blog Tour Stop...Willing Captive by Belle Aurora Review by PJ*****

Willing Captive
by
Belle Aurora

Synopsis:

(Author note: This is NOT a dark romance.)

Delilah “Lily” Flynn is used to her drab existence. Lily’s been living it for twenty two years.
Her boring life is suddenly turned on its head when she’s rudely kidnapped from her bedroom.
Or so she thinks.

Nox Taylor is far too high up in his field to be assigned a babysitting job.
There’s nothing more he wants than to complete his mission so he can be rid of the smartass tomboy, Lily.

Day after day, Nox watches Lily and her strange ways. She’s unlike any woman he’s ever met.
Getting close to the girl is purely for her own protection…right?

Lily never imagined she’d make her first real friends in captivity.
What lengths would she go through to keep them?

**This is a stand alone novel and is unrelated to Friend-Zoned**

My Review:

So anyone can back through the reviews and find that I am completely in love with this author.  Her writing is light and fresh...damn hilarious and when needed freaking HOT!  When going in to read this book, I had my expectations high.  You'd understand why if you've read "Friend-Zoned" or "Love Thy Neighbor".  If you haven't read them...  I just may have to run a giveaway and purchase these here in a week or so...Ohhh yes. I think I might.  Keep watching the blog, I will be gifting out a copy of each of her books.  Yup she is worth it y'all!

Now back to my review, hahaha!  Willing Captive did not let me down.  She not only met my expectations, she exceeded them.  She caught me in the beginning and held me through to the very end.  I cried, I laughed, I snorted, I stopped breathing....Oh yeah it was in the best of ways though.  It is one of the things I love most about Belle Aurora's books...The humor.  Example you ask...

Soaping up and washing himself, he replies, “What’re we having?”
“Penis butter and jelly.”
Holy shit!
Slapping a hand to my forehead, I cringe. “Peanut butter and jelly.”
I see him smirk, but he doesn’t say a thing.
Smart man.

Oh this scene gets so much better but I want to leave you at something that will get you into reading this.  This book has many hilarious parts and some heartbreaking and heart soaring part as well.

Nox and Lily long for what they can't have and dream for what may not even exist, but they can't stop themselves from it.  Some would say they set themselves up for heartbreak even.  However as you watch them together you wonder, maybe the price of uncertainty of a future is worth the moments they share together then.

I have to say, I didn't expect a lot of what happened throughout this book.  My heart broke for several chapters and cried a lot.  Have you ever wanted something so bad that it literally hurts not to go for it?  Well that is what Nox and Lily face together, but there is so much more at stake when it comes down to the technicalities of things.  Could you make a decision based on a future that was so black it could suffocate you?  That blackness being the uncertainty of how things will happen...if they will happen...  Follow Lily and Nox on their journey of confusion, loss, fear, and terror unlike anything else.  You will laugh with them, cry with them, and cheer for them.

To Belle Aurora, Wow! I'm just not even sure how to put into words your talents.  I know I have said this before, but you were made for this.  You're gift in telling a story is unmatched and I wish you long and successful writing career because I sure need your books to break up the seriousness life throws at us every day!  You are amazing and I hope that one day the whole world sees your talent as so many do now.

THIS IS A DEFINITE MUST READ!!!!!
